Our 2022 Yiwu Ripe Pu'er comes from the largest of the “Ancient Six Renowned Tea Mountains” in Xishuangbanna. This area has been an epicenter for Pu'er tea cultivation since the Qing Dynasty. Nestled in an untouched tropical rainforest frequented by monkeys, the tea garden boasts a flourishing ecosystem. Influenced by a blend of Dai and Han cultures, the tea varieties in Yiwu have been cultivated to capture this unique intersection. These Yiwu Lyuya trees have low catechin content, producing a brew that is mellow, sweet, and devoid of bitterness or astringency. Our tea was exclusively sourced from tall ancient Yiwu Lyuya tea trees.
This tea underwent large-pile fermentation, ensuring microbial diversity and fermentation efficiency. This guarantees the tea's enchanting flavor profile and its significant aging potential.
