White tea is categorized into various types based on harvest standards, including Baihao Yinzhen, Baimudan, and Shoumei.
Baihao Yinzhen, or White Fuzz Silver Needle, is primarily made from meticulously selected buds. These buds are densely covered in fine, silvery fuzz and resemble elongated needles, giving the tea its name.
-
Our Baihao Yinzhen hails from an unattended tea garden in Taimu Mountain, the birthplace of Fuding white tea. The tea trees haven’t been touched or fertilized by human hands for over a decade, allowing them to grow naturally. Although this leads to a reduced yield, it undeniably enhances the tea's quality.
Traditional techniques of indoor natural withering and sun-drying are employed to preserve the authentic flavor, completed by machine drying to achieve a low moisture level—ideal for long-term storage and quality transformation.
-
Thanks to these unique characteristics, our Baihao Yinzhen is visually striking and possesses an authentic aroma. It offers a refreshing sweet taste, accompanied by subtle notes of fuzz scent, and presents a clean mouthfeel. Each sip is mellow and smooth, delivering a long-lasting, moisturizing aftertaste. What sets this tea apart is that its sweetness becomes more pronounced the more you savor it, adding to its understated elegance, which brings mindfulness and inner peace with each tasting.
