Tea Gathering at “Interest in Humanity: Portraits of Yesterday and Today” Exhibition

  • Fou Gallery 410 Jefferson Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11221 United States (map)

Teasthetic is delighted to announce a special collaboration with Fou Gallery, hosting an exclusive chahui (tea ceremony) during the exhibition Interest in Humanity: Portraits of Yesterday and Today.

Taking place within the unique apartment-like space of Fou Gallery, this chahui is thoughtfully aligned with the exhibition's theme of portraiture, which showcases a transcendent journey through time via works from mid-20th-century masters and contemporary emerging artists.

In this free-form event, guests will be able to wander around the gallery while observing our tea artist Mengyan’s demonstration. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy cold-brewed Baihao Yinzhen and Jingshan Green Tea, and witness the gongfu brewing of Shifeng Peak Longjing, Phoenix Dancong Songzhong, and Wuyi Rock Tea Dahongpao. We will also handcraft tea snacks to accentuate each tea's unique flavor.

This tea event is more than just a sensory delight; it's a cultural and artistic exchange. The chaxi (tea stage) and the gallery will become a bridge, connecting history, art, and the inner world of humanity.
